From Frustration to Real Leadership
By 24, I’d led teams in several organisations - but rarely felt energised, inspired or even heard. I was shut down from above. Boxed in by hierarchy.
If I wasn’t inspired, how could I expect my team to be?
I felt frustrated. Unseen. Stuck.
Until I realised something powerful:Â I could choose differently.
I didn’t just leave the role - I left the country. I went looking for something better. I wanted to explore, to experience difference, to get out there and learn how leadership could be done.
Over the next twelve years overseas, I stretched myself professionally - leading major projects in high-pressure, high-responsibility environments. From superyacht refits to remote cultural experiences, I learnt how to lead with trust, with purpose, and with results.
And while I worked, I travelled. I immersed myself in over 60 countries - absorbing culture, challenge and humanity in all forms. That time shaped me. It’s why I now lead and coach with deep understanding, empathy and relatability - across age, gender, culture and personality.
And it’s how I learnt to build teams who were inspired, connected… and stayed - even when the pressure was high.

I’ve combined my professional skills and accreditations with over a decade of world-wide experience leading teams in environments that encounter pressure at the highest degree.
Teams that must live together, working side by side, producing exceptional outcomes in short time frames.
Teams that have nowhere to go, nowhere to hide – they are remote in its purest sense – miles and miles from civilisation. In these situations, it is imperative that all team members exhibit superior belief in all that they come up against – including each other.
With this in mind, I created an approach, a system to ensure superiority across the board, was developed and maintained.
